Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,
On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, and also on my own behalf, I have the honor to convey to you and through you to the fraternal people of Azerbaijan my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of your country – the Republic Day.
I would like to note with great satisfaction that Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations, based on the principles of good neighborliness, friendship and mutual understanding, are becoming more and more dynamic and progressive and are distinguished by great mutual trust, equality and openness.
I recall with particular warmth our recent meeting in your wonderful country in March this year. Then, in the course of open and confidential negotiations, we confirmed the mutual desire and willingness to steadily expand the multifaceted cooperation between our countries.
I am deeply convinced that the fruitful cooperation established in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields will, thanks to our joint efforts, continue to develop and strengthen for the benefit of our fraternal peoples.
