President Ilham Aliyev took part at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ganja State Philharmonic Society building.
It was reported that the previous building of the Philharmonic Society is in emergency situation, and due to this fact, it has been decided to dismantle that building and construct a new one replacing the building of Baku Movie Theater and Children’s Creative Center. Six storied new building to be constructed in an area exceeding one hectare will have the following amenities: concert hall for 1200 spectators; 2 movie theaters; outdoor summer concert square; painting gallery; and sightseeing tower. Being 26 meters in height, the building will accommodate also restaurant and cafes, including underground parking lot sizing 800 square meters.
