First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva expressed condolences to relatives of those killed as a result of Armenia's missile attack on Barda

Today, the armed forces of Armenia, yet another time, have brutally violated the terms of humanitarian ceasefire by launching the rocket attack to the city of Barda situated out of military operations zone.

In the aftermath of shelling with cluster rockets launched from the Smerch multiple rocket launcher, the death toll is four civilians, including 7 years old girl. Fourteen people, including four children are seriously injured.

The murder of civilians during armed conflicts is the most blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the norms of international humanitarian law as a whole.

How many more innocent persons should perish in the hands of Armenian aggressors until the international community will stop turning a blind eye to these crimes?

My deepest sympathies go out to the families and beloved ones of the dead, and I wish the soonest recovery to the injured.

We will liberate our land from aggressors and put an end to these crimes.
