Mehriban Aliyeva: We have returned our Shusha! I congratulate all of you on this significant historic event

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the liberation of Shusha.

First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva has shared a post on her official Instagram page on the occasion of the historic victory, The post says:

"In these minutes, our entire people are filled with sentiments of immense pride and joy! Shusha is liberated from the occupation! I convey my heartfelt congratulations to our fellow compatriots on this occasion!

After long years of pain, longing for and tragic events, the historic justice is being restored! Today’s feat of arms of this generation of heroes that defend our Motherland and liberate ancient Azerbaijani lands from the occupation, will enter into the history of Azerbaijan and live always in the memory of each of us!

The liberation of every inch of Azerbaijani lands is being realized thanks to the heroic actions, the courage, the staunchess and the will of victory of our brave soldiers! May Allah rest the souls of our martyrs in peace that sacrifice themselves for the Motherland!

We have brought our Shusha back! I congratulate once again all of us on the occasion of this remarkable historic event!
