On 5 August, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on regional matters since the signing of the trilateral declaration on November 10, 2020 and implementation of the declaration’s provisions, the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and strengthening stability and security in the region in the post-conflict period.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of state also discussed the issues related to various areas of Azerbaijan-France bilateral relations.
