President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the reconstructed culture and recreation park named after Heydar Aliyev in the Binagadi district of Baku.

It was noted that the culture and recreation park named after Heydar Aliyev covers an area of 4.5 hectares.

The reconstruction of the park began in August of last year. Local and foreign experts were involved in the reconstruction.

Unserviceable buildings of the park have been knocked down and communications replaced. The fully landscaped park has 167 species of rare trees, shrubs and plants. Given the terrain, designers have skillfully constructed modern-looking bridges, waterfalls, fountains and other small architectural elements. There are various attractions for kids, including rides, swings and other sports and game elements. The center of the park is adorned by a musical fountain.

There is a statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the park. An office building of the Binagadi district branch of the "Yeni Azerbaijan Party" has also been built.

The President praised work done in the park.
